Joining the product team, you will be part of a team of experts specialising in electrical engineering, electronics, embedded software, and electrical testing. Your specific focus will be on the embedded where your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing both new and existing medical devices and processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborating with fellow development team members and internal partners to support the creation, advancement, and launch of novel electronic products and processes.
  • Coordinating efforts with development, quality assurance, and regulatory divisions to ensure full compliance of fresh medical products with pertinent standards and requirements.
  • Crafting software and conducting software evaluations for both emerging and existing medical devices.
  • Partnering with external development associates and service providers for the enhancement of products and processes.
  • Evaluating, choosing, and implementing new systems when necessary to bolster the development and commercialization of modern medical electronics.
  • Offering assistance for post-release customer care duties related to electronic medical devices, such as investigating product complaints and tracking firmware issues.
  • Delivering and appraising written reports within the quality system's framework.
  • Nurturing open, engaged, and fruitful collaborative relationships across all internal departments and stakeholders.
  • Sustaining up-to-date knowledge of pertinent issues, trends, and best practices.
  • Cultivating an atmosphere of ongoing improvement and innovation.
  • Overseeing and guiding junior-level development personnel in planning and executing product development initiatives.
  
ABOUT YOU:
  • 5+ years experience with C or C++
  • Familiar with embedded Linux desirable
  • Familiar with general hardware development 
  • Understanding of software engineering principles 
  • Understanding of engineering systems and processes  
  • Uses industry best practice design patterns
