ABOUT THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Within this role you will manage the delivery of infrastructure within this organisation's key NZ client; managing a small team of specialists providing support for a primarily on-premise deployment of applications and infrastructure.
In addition you will:
Proactively plan and support the overall programme implementation from an infrastructure and environments point of view
Track and ensure the delivery of programme milestones and day-to-day issue resolution
Consistently provide communication and support to other resolver units and partners
Lead calls to investigate and resolve issues across multi-disciplinary teams across NZ and overseas
Maintain status reports for your area and interface into overall programme plan
ABOUT YOU: We are seeking someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic and who is a team player. To be successful you will also need:
Extensive experience of delivery, operation and support of complex IT applications and systems
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux systems
VMWare and OpenShift experience highly desirable
Knowledge of networking infrastructure - F5 load-balancers, Firewalls
Previous experience working within an ITIL framework
The ability to work outside of core business hours occasionally
