ABOUT THE COMPANY:
This is a great opportunity to join a market leading organisation in the Financial Services sector. They are going through a period of exciting change, and are working on many new initiatives with a big focus on IT and Digital. 

With offices based in Auckland CBD, they offer the flexibility to work from home or in their office, ideally 2- 3 days a week in office and the rest at home. 

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Delivery Manager acts as a bridge between technical teams and the business owners and other stakeholders, ensuring that technology solutions are delivered successfully and align with the companies strategic goals. The role is accountable for managing the planning, flow and continuous delivery within the value stream.

Some of the duties will include:
  • Own, manage and drive all work within the value stream to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products and services
  • Budget tracking and management
  • Measuring and managing the performance of the cross functional Squads
  • Mentoring Team Leads
  • Establish a high performing team culture within the team
  • Continuous improvement 
ABOUT YOU:
You will come from a Software Development background, this is essential for the role. You will have a firm understanding of how Software Products are delivered, and in this role will be accountable for the delivery of Software initiatives, and programmes of work. 

This role will also involve mentoring new Team Leaders, and also coaching direct reports. You will have proven leadership skills and will have had direct reports in previous roles. 
  • Effective agile project management experience is crucial. This includes creating comprehensive delivery plans, defining scope, setting realistic timelines, and managing resources efficiently.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in large, complex environments
  • Ideally experience in Financial Services 
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills
