ABOUT THE CONTRACT:
Immediate start; contract until March 2025 with possible extension.
Lead and support the development and delivery of a PowerBI environment with a small team of data analysts and engineers to deliver dashboards and queries.
Key Responsibilities
•Collaborate with the Merchandise and IT teams to understand data requirements
• Configure and manage a PowerBI environment to support multiple data sets
supporting up to 400 users
• Define and develop, with appropriate IT people, “data products” to be used to deliver dashboards and queries
• Establish common patterns for development of dashboards and queries for
Merchandise developers
• Train team members on PowerBI best practices
• Design and implement the data pipeline to support the Merchandise data sets
• Develop and deliver dashboard & reports in Power BI that considers multiple
business uses
• Maintain PowerBI dashboards and reports
ABOUT YOU:
• Proven experience with PowerBI and data visualization in a complex corporate
environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Significant experience with data engineering concepts
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with sales, promotion, and cost data analysis
• Experience in the retail or consumer goods industry
• Microsoft PL-300 and PL-600 Certification
• Experience with working with a big data environment within a Retail environment
