ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll work closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and design tailored solutions which optimise efficiency and scalability. You’ll work across multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with a diverse array of customers to enhance cloud-based design and build services, with a strong emphasis on DevOps, cloud, and container technologies.

Key responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Cloud Solutions: Develop and deploy cloud architectures that are secure, scalable, and cost-effective, supporting a variety of applications and services.
  • Manage and Monitor Cloud Environments: Oversee the health, performance, and security of cloud platforms, responding to any issues and optimizing for continuous improvement.
  • Automation and Scripting: Automate repetitive tasks, streamline deployment processes, and develop tools that enable faster and more reliable operations.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with sales, IT, and security teams to ensure cloud solutions align with project requirements and industry best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, identifying opportunities to improve existing infrastructure and adopt new tools and practices.
ABOUT YOU:
  • Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with hands-on expertise in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
  • Deep knowledge of cloud services, including storage, networking, and security.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to challenges in cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively across departments.
